FULL DAY TOUR

This is the 2 X 1 Tour, Volcanoes and Mayan sites, On this tour we will learn about the history of the Mayan culture of El Salvador and also we will enjoy beautiful views from the Cerro Verde National Park. Our first stop will be at the San Andres archeological site, this one of the most important sites of the country where our indigenas used as a acropolis for , ceremonies and important actitivies.  Then we will go to the Cerro Verde National Park to enjoy a very pleasant weather, here we will make a 45-minute walk where we will have impressive views of Izalco, Santa Ana Volcano and Lake Coatepeque, at the end of the walk we will go to Coatepeque lake to enjoy a delicious lunch from a viewpoint, before finishing our day, we will visit one of the most important archeological sites in the country: Tazumal. This schedule may change because some times we go to the volcano a the last stop. (If you want to visit Joya de Ceren and tazumal you will need to pay $5 extra dollars per person at the Joya de Ceren Site). This other site is known as the Pompeii of America: Joya de Ceren, this is an indigenous village covered by 14 layers of ash, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1993.
